• 始建於 1887 年的建物，最初是商人的旅館，1918 年在現在の地重建為旅館観光旅館，當時建造了兩層的木造松棟，1931 年又增築兩層的木造月棟 Founded in 1887, the building, originally a merchant’s inn, was rebuilt in 1918 on its current site as a tourist inn. The two-story wooden Matsu-to (Pine Building) was constructed, and in 1931, the two-story wooden Tsuki-to (Moon Building) was added.
• 1947 年 2 月，小說家太宰治曾在此下榻約 1 個月，創作了小說《斜陽》的第1章和第2章，他當時的客室至今仍保留著當年的格局，遊客仍可入住 From February 1947 for approximately one month, the novelist Osamu Dazai stayed here and wrote the first and second chapters of his novel, “The Setting Sun.” The layout of his room remains the same as it was then, and it is still possible to stay there.
