勒・柯比意の建築作品 (近代建築運動の顕著貢献) The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier, an Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement
- 20 世紀建築国際化的傑作，分別來自 7 個国家 17 項資産所組成，革新的建築言語創案，由勒柯比意 “耐心研究” 半世紀建築以來所建立，印度昌迪加爾政治中心建築群、日本の国立西洋美術館、阿根廷拉普拉塔庫魯切特博士住宅、法國馬賽公寓反映近代建築運動試圖以創新建築技術，來解決 20 世紀的社會需求，這些創意天才的傑作，也彰顯了建築的國際化 Chosen from the work of Le Corbusier, the 17 sites comprising this transnational serial property are spread over seven countries and are a testimonial to the invention of a new architectural language that made a break with the past. They were built over a period of a half-century, in the course of what Le Corbusier described as “patient research”. The Complexe du Capitole in Chandigarh (India), the National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo (Japan), the House of Dr Curutchet in La Plata (Argentina) and the Unité d’habitation in Marseille (France) reflect the solutions that the Modern Movement sought to apply during the 20th century to the challenges of inventing new architectural techniques to respond to the needs of society. These masterpieces of creative genius also attest to the internationalization of architectural practice across the planet.
- 1926 年柯比意就自己的住宅設計提出著名的「新建築五點」，設計住宅採框架結構，牆體不再承重，認為「牆柱分離」能產生自由化的建築。認為現代建築必須要向古典主義 (特別是米開朗基羅、巴洛克風格之前) 的建築學習，滿足簡單的生活機能即可，不必再加上瑣碎的、頹廢的、裝飾的、貴族的美學風格。他提出 Dom-Ino 為一種配備，就其形狀及拼合方式成為一種產品設計，而得到「住宅機器」 (House Machine)，因而滿足了戰後重建、大量生產、標準化、可自由之拼組之需要。2016 年第 40 屆世界遺產大會上，勒·柯比意的位於 7 個國家的 17 件作品被列入世界遺產 Load-bearing walls are replaced by steel or reinforced concrete columns, so the interior can be freely designed, and interior walls can be put anywhere, or left out entirely. The Modulor was a standard model of the human form which Le Corbusier devised to determine the correct amount of living space needed for residents in his buildings. On 17 July 2016, seventeen projects by Le Corbusier in seven countries were inscribed in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites as The Architectural Work of Le Corbusier, an Outstanding Contribution to the Modern Movement.
