- 氷の野外美術館 Ice Open-air Museum
- 支笏湖是 3 萬年前火山活動所形成的火山口湖，長約42 km，最大深度約 363 m (日本第 2)，僅次於秋田縣田澤湖 It is a caldera lake with a circumference of about 42 km and a maximum depth of about 363 m (the second deepest in Japan after Lake Tazawa in Akita Prefecture), which was created by the volcanic activity about 30,000 years ago.
- 支笏湖的透明度和水質，在日本國內屈指可數，冰濤祭 (冰雪節) 中不同大小的冰雕，是利用自動噴水器將湖水噴灑凝固創作而成，白天閃耀著被譽為「支笏湖的湛藍」的天然藍，夜晚則被打上五顏六色的美麗燈光 Lake Shikotsu, which boasts one of the highest water quality in Japan, is lined with ice objects of various sizes that are frozen by spraying it, shining in Lake Shikotsu blue during the day, and illuminated by colorful lights at night, making visitors fantastic.
