- 這種獨特景觀的形成源自於御嶽山的の伏流水，滲入西野川的地下水順著岩壁滴落並凍結，滲出的地下水一點一點凍結，冰柱大約在 12 月開始出現，最厳寒的 1 月至 2 月中旬，冰柱達到最大、最壯觀 The reason for this unique landscape is the groundwater flowing from Mount Ontake. Groundwater seeping into the Nishinogawa River drips down the rock face and freezes. The seeping groundwater freezes little by little, and the ice pillars begin to appear around December. They are at their largest and most impressive during the coldest months from January to Mid-February.
