- 作為西国鎮衛據點，於 1622 年所建，以五重天守為首，在本丸・二之丸還有許多櫓、城門的福山城 Fukuyama Castle, built in 1622 as the base of the Western Province, has a five-tiered castle keep, numerous yagura turrets, and castle gates in the center of the castle and outer citadel.
- 首次進行大規模整修的福山城博物館展示以及福山城歴代藩主等 Experiential and other contents related to Mizuno Katsunari and Abe Masahiro, newly established as part of a large-scale renovation, are introduced.

天守閣 Castle Keep

- 全國唯一在天守北側用鉄板覆蓋的西国鎮衛城堡，在天守建築技術最為發達時期所建的天守，是由 5 層 6 樓 (階)、2 層 3 樓的小天守連接而成的層塔型複合天守 It is the only castle in Japan with the nation’s only iron-plated north side of the castle keep. The castle keep was built in the period of the greatest technological development of castle keep construction, as a multi-leveled tower type keep with 5 tiers and 6 floors and 2 tiers and 3 floors of small keep joined together.
