A. 中町商店街 Nakamachi Shoutengai (Shopping Street)
- 中町通り由西向東延伸的善光寺街道(北国街道西街道)，主要酒造業與和服(呉服)批發商而繁盛 Nakamachi Street is located along Zenkoji Kaido (Hokkoku Kaido Nishi Kaido), which runs from west to east, and has prospered mainly with sake breweries and kimono wholesalers.
- 為了避免屢遭火災，商人運用智慧建造了海參牆的倉庫「なまこ壁の土蔵」，這些簡單的黑白土蔵造の家，至今仍保留在中町地區 Many fire-resistant kura-style (earthern walled) buildings were built to protect from the town from fire. The kura-style buildings are decorated inn a unique style using a white, motar grid pattern on black tiles called “namako” walls. Even today, many such buildings remain around the Nakamachi area.
