- 在日本海航路海運業の発展過程中，作為北前船の船主和船員の居住地而繁栄，從江戸後期到明治中期達到全盛集落 The Kuroshima District flourished as a residence for Kitamaebune ship owners and sailors during the development of the shipping industry along the Japan Sea route, and reached its peak from the late Edo period to the mid-Meiji period.

- 現存黒島代表的廻船問屋 (海運批發商) 住宅 A representative example of a cargo shipping wholesaler house still exists on Kuroshima Island.
- 保存「黑瓦」、「格子窗」和「木板外牆」等共通要素的町並景觀，從高台上可以欣賞到層疊的黑瓦與大海交相輝映的景観 It preserves a townscape with common elements such as “black glazed roof tiles,” “latticework,” and “clapboard exteriors.” From the hilltop, one can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the overlapping black roof tiles against the backdrop of the sea.

輪島市黒島天領 Wajima-shi Kuroshima Tenryo 北前船資料館 Kitamaebune Museum
- 以模型重現了活躍於室町幕府末期至明治維新時期的北前船的雄姿，展現了使用這些船隻的船東和船長的風采，以及航海使用的必需品 This exhibit recreates the majestic appearance of Kitamae ships, which were active from the end of the Muromachi Shogunate to the Meiji Restoration, using miniature models to convey the essence of the shipowners and captains who used these ships and the essential equipment they carried.
