- 島津家的別墅御殿房間當年共有七十數房，經由 1884 年改建之後目前僅留存三分之二的二十多間房，政治變遷廢藩置縣制度時第 29 代最後的藩主島津忠義就由鶴丸城 (鹿児島城) 移居仙巌園後的住家格式，由後宮走入到忠義的各個房間您必將感動當年島津家的優雅風情及風水極佳的借景庭園。Visit the house loved by generations of the Shimadzu family, and enjoy the private view over the Japanese gardens, Kagoshima Bay, and Sakurajima.
