- 座落在亀山上的平山城，海拔約 66m，也被稱為亀山城。丸龜城以石牆城而聞名全國 It is a hilltop castle built on Kameyama with an altitude of about 66m, and is also called Kameyama Castle. Marugame Castle is famous nationwide as a castle of stone wall, as its name is described as “stone castle”.

国指定重要文化財 Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property
- a. 天守 Castle Tower (Tensyu)
- 高約 15 m、三層三階造、日本僅存的 12 座木製天守之一。 1660 年竣工，是四國現存最古老的木造天守 With a height of about 15 meters and a structure of three layers and three floors, it is one of only 12 remaining wooden castle towers in Japan. Completed in 1660, it is the oldest remaining wooden castle tower in Shikoku.
- b. 大手一の門 Ohte Ichinomon
- 大手一の門是用大柱和橫梁組裝而成牢固櫓門，具有大手正門的威嚴，平成的「時太鼓」，每天中午都會指派專人擊鼓 Ohte Ichinomon is a yaguramon (turret) gate that is firmly assembled with large pillars and beams, and has the dignity of the main gate of Ote. In Heisei’s “Shitaiko”, a person is assigned to drum every noon.
- c. 大手二の門 Ohte Ninomon
- 與一の門同時建造的高麗門形式の門，大手是指城の正面 This is a Koraimon-style gate that was built at the same time as the Ichimon Gate. Ote refers to the front of the castle
入口大門 (玄関先御門) Entrance Gate
- 正門是前領主府邸 (旧藩主居館) 的正門，也被稱為「御殿正門」The entrance gate, which was the front gate of the former feudal lord’s residence, is also called “Goten front gate”.
警衛室 (番所．長屋) Guard House
- 門の西側監視御殿人員進出。On the west side of the gate, there is a guardhouse that watches people entering and leaving the palace.
丸亀市立資料館 Shiryokan
- 歴史・民俗資料館以丸亀藩主京極家の資料為中心，與當地有關的文書、書画等歴史資料、民具、団扇制作道具。除了農耕用具等民俗資料収蔵 This is a history and folklore museum. In addition to storing documents related to the local area centering on the materials of the Marugame feudal lord Kyogoku family, historical materials such as calligraphy and paintings, and folk materials such as folk tools, fan making tools, agricultural tools, etc.
石垣の美 The Beauty of Stone Walls
- 三の丸北側的石垣是丸亀城石垣中最高的，20 m以上の城壁，隅角部の石垣有著造型優美的弧線，外型曲線如扇而被稱為「扇形坡度」The stone wall on the north side of Sannomaru is the tallest among the stone walls of Marugame Castle, and the walls are more than 20 m long. The stone walls in the corners have beautiful curves that are called ‘Ogi no Gradient’.
本丸 Honmaru
- 山上の最高點本丸，除了天守外主牆還有隅櫓・渡櫓・土塀 Honmaru is the highest point on the mountain. In the Honmaru, in addition to the castle tower, there was a corner tower (Sumiyagura), a Watari Yagura (Watari Yagura), and an earthen wall (Dobei) on the stone wall.
二の丸 Ninomaru
- 現在二の丸種植了桜花，広場中間是二の丸の井，據說是日本最深的井，水深超過 30 m 以上 Today, cherry trees have been planted in Ninomaru. In the middle of this square is the Ninomaru well, which is said to be the deepest well in Japan. The water depth is more than 30m.
三の丸 Sannomaru
- 三の丸圍繞的二の丸・本丸 Sannomaru surrounds the Ninomaru and Honmaru.
石垣 Stone Wall
