- 1893 年利用疏水道的水，打造成葫蘆池與噴泉，1914 年由第七代小川治兵衛完成正統的回遊式庭園，圍繞著池邊的疊石之中，再運用自然石整合橋梁上的人工石 In 1893 fountain works using canal water were attached to the Hyotan-Numa pond. In 1914 Ogawa Jihei VII added the finishing touch by completing an authentic circuit style walking garden. Ogawa Jihei was especially skilled at incorporating artificial stones within stone edgings lining ponds. Here he deftly integrates the type of artificial stones used in bridge beams along with natural rocks.
- 円山公園設立於 1886 年是京都最古老的公園，被指定為國之名勝，也是賞櫻名所，園內共種植染井吉野櫻、山櫻…等約 680 棵櫻花，以「一重白彼岸枝垂櫻」為主，以「祇園枝垂櫻」、「祇園の夜櫻」為代表，怒放時粉嫩花枝猶如水流般低垂，位於中央的一棵巨大的垂枝櫻「櫻花女王」，樹齡已有 87 年 (第 2 代的櫻花樹)，目前高 12 m、樹幹周圍 2.8 m、分枝 10 m。每到了櫻花盛開的時期，入夜之後會點燈，燈光襯托之下，更有種脫俗之美，成為知名的賞櫻景點 Maruyama Park, established in 1886, is the oldest park in Kyoto and designated as a national scenic spot. The park is currently home to about 680 cherry blossom trees including Somei-yoshino, mountain cherry…etc. The central weeping cherry blossom trees are particularly famous. They are 87 years old (2nd generation cherry blossoms). The current appearance is 12 m in height, 2.8 m around the trunk, and 10 m in branching. With illumination lighting up the cherry blossoms at night during their blooming season, this park is also famous as a beautiful cherry blossom viewing spot.
