翡翠山翡翠 Kawasemi Yamasemi

宛若翱翔於宏偉山巒與清澈河岸的飛鳥，感受人吉球磨之旅 Experience the Hitoyoshi/Kuma region like the wild birds that visit the majestic mountains and crystal clear streams.
人吉盆地四周高山環繞，過去，就連在球磨川興建船道也是困難重重；即便如此，在交通往來不便的時代，翡翠、山翡翠等野鳥也能自由飛翔其間，遂以此來為列車命名 The Hitoyoshi Basin is surrounded on all four sides by towering mountains. Once upon a time, the people of this area suffered extreme hardship forging routes to allow ships passage through Kuma River. This train is named after the wild birds, the kingfisher and crested kingfisher, that most likely travelled freely over the train tracks, even in a time when the passage of people was challenging.

1. 第 1 節車廂 Car-1 翡翠 Kawasemi
宛如樹木環繞的沉穩內裝，從車窗可以悠閒地飽覽堪稱日本原始風景的自然之美 Relax and soak in the natural beauty, the unspoiled landscape of Japan passing by the windows from the tranquil interior finished in natural timber tones.
2. 第 2 節車廂 Car-2 山翡翠 Yamasemi
「山翡翠」車內設有販售輕食的餐飲服務區，以及類似沙發的長椅座位「Yamasemi」 offers a service corner (bar counter) selling light snacks, etc. and comfortable bench seats that look like sofas.

車廂構成 Train Configuration

共有 2 節車廂「翡翠&山翡翠」，1 – 2 號班次的第 2 節車廂(山翡翠)為自由座，3 – 6 號班次所有車廂座位皆為對號座 *All seats in Car 2 (Yamasemi) on the Limited Express「Kawasemi Yamasemi」No. 1 & No. 2 are non-reserved seats. From No. 3 through No. 6 are reserved seats only.
