• 明治 15 年、大野市下山發現日本第一個侏儸紀菊石，後來研究證實世界上只有在大野市和西藏發現，大野市因挖掘出侏羅紀中期 (約 1.66 億年前) 至侏儸紀晚期 (約 1.6 億年前) 的各種菊石而聞名，也成為亞洲菊石研究中心。近年來在白亜紀前期 (約 1.3 億年前) 的地層恐龍歯化石出土，成為北陸地方重要恐竜化石研究基地 In the 15th year of the Meiji Era, Japan’s first Jurassic ammonite was discovered in Shimoyama, Ono City. Subsequent studies have also reported Jurassic ammonites, named “Pseudonew Kenicellas Yokoyamai,” which have only been found in two locations in the world, Ono & Tibet. Through the accumulation of such research, various ammonites from the Middle Jurassic (about 166 million years ago) to the Late Jurassic (about 160 million years ago) have become known in Ono City, and are now known. It is internationally recognized as an important center for ammonite research in Asia. In recent years, dinosaur tooth fossils have been discovered in the strata of the Early Cretaceous (about 130 million years ago), and are attracting attention as an important research base for dinosaur fossils in the Hokuriku region.
• 大野市古生代到中生代地層分布廣泛，在這些地層都發現了化石。飛騨外縁帯構成岩類挖出古生代化石 – 三葉虫、紡錘虫、珊瑚、海百合、腕足類等，九頭竜層群産出中生代侏儸紀的化石 – 菊石、箭石、二枚貝等海生物化石，手取層群發現中生代白亜紀化石 – 恐竜、貝、蕨類葉子等陸上動植物化石 In Ono City, strata from the Paleozoic to the Mesozoic are distributed, and fossils have been found in each stratum. These are academically important strata, and research has been conducted on geology and fossils produced since the Meiji era. Paleozoic fossils are found in the Hida outer marginal rocks, and fossils such as trilobites, fusulina, coral, sea lilies, and brachiopods have been found. Mesozoic Jurassic fossils are found in the Kuzuryu Group, and fossils of sea creatures such as ammonites, belemnites, and inoceramus have been found. Mesozoic Cretaceous fossils are found in the Tetori Group, and fossils
• HOROSSA！可体験発掘大野市從古生代 (約 4.4 億年前) 至白亜紀前期 (約 1.3 億年前) 的地層岩石，至今日為止大野市已經發現各類化石，例如恐竜の歯、菊石、植物、貝類等 HOROSSA! In, you can experience fossil excavation using rocks from the Paleozoic (about 440 million years ago) to the Early Cretaceous (about 130 million years ago) strata that are widely distributed in Ono City. So far, various types of fossils such as dinosaur teeth, ammonites, plants, and shellfish have been discovered in Ono City.

1. 可在大野市古生代至中生代的地層中每個時期挖掘化石 Fossils can be excavated for each era using the rocks of the Paleozoic to Mesozoic strata distributed in Ono City.
2. 日本侏儸紀菊石化石発掘体験 HOROSSA You can experience the excavation of Jurassic ammonite fossils in Japan at HOROSSA! .
3. 一次可供 200 人体験 Up to 200 people can experience it at one time.
4. 中心提供體驗所需的護目鏡、錘子和工作手套，不需準備工具 Goggles, hammers and work gloves necessary for the experience are available at the center, so please come empty-handed.
