- 在日本只有大井川鐵道是一年四季皆行駛 SL 的鐵路公司 Oigawa Railway(Dai-Tetsu) is the only railway in Japan running Steam Locomotives throughout the year.
- 1. 4 輛的 SL 4 different Steam Locomotives
- 在大鐵,一共有 4 輛蒸氣火車頭在現役行駛中 All four steam locomotives running on Oigawa Railway were made back in the 1930s.
- 2. 懷舊列車 Nostalgia Train
- 客車是製造於昭和 10 – 20 年代,木頭做的座位及電燈泡,古老的電風扇等,重現了昭和時代的氛圍。請盡情享受一下懐舊鐵道之旅的時間。也經常被做為電視及電影的場景 Some of the passenger carriages are from the 1950s. Wooden seats and old fans tell a story from the Showa period. Occasionally they are used for films and TV shootings for its unique atmosphere.

- 於盛會期間,Hiro 號及帕西號會在千頭車站迎接湯瑪士進站。(詹姆士號的行駛日則為迎接詹姆士號)在進站之後,會有和湯瑪士號(詹姆士號)、Hiro 號還有帕西號三台火車一起合照的機會 During the season, Hiro and Percy will be waiting for you at Senzu Station. You can take a picture with all three of them. Admission fee is 500 yen for children over 6 years old.

- 在大井川本線上一共有 19 個車站,其中也包括從創業當初就有的建築物 Among the 19 stations along Oigawa Main Line, some remain exactly the same since they were built. Taking the local trains is the best way to appreciate how the time flows.

- 沿著大井川上游·奧大井溪谷緩緩行駛的「南阿爾卑斯阿布特線」是日本唯一現役行駛的齒軌式列車。當初是為了建設大井川水系水庫而建造有著悠久的歷史,現在被當作奧大井地區的觀光列車來行駛。有高斜度 90 千分率的日本第一陡坡,也有日本最高的鐵道橋 (關之澤橋樑),日本唯一的湖上車站等値得一遊的景點 Trains slowly run through the upstream of Ikawa and Oku-Oi. The railway itself was built for construction work and now is one of the main tourist attractions in Oku-Oi.
- 1. 阿布特式列車 ABT System Trains
- 所謂的阿布特式,是由卡爾·羅曼·阿布特先生所發明的,専門攀登高斜度陡坡的鐵路系統 (機架鐵路) 之一。機架鐵路於 1869 年開始在瑞士、美國實地行駛,之後推廣到世界各地,現今瑞士的鐵路也是名聞全球。現在想在日本乘坐阿布特式火車,只有大井川的南阿爾卑斯阿布特線才能如願。阿布特式火車頭是把被稱為「機架車輪小齒輪」的坡道專用齒輪,舖設在鐵軌正中央的「機架軌道」上方,利用齒輪咬合的方式來爬行上下坡 ABT System Railway was developed for mountain railways and was named after Carl Roman ABT, a Swiss mechanical engineer who invented it back in the 1880s. Southern Alps ABT Railway is the only railway in Japan using this system. It is a part of the Rack System which has been used in America since 1869 and is well known as a tourist attraction in Switzerland. The trains can go up and down the steep mountains with its rack wheel pinions meshing with a toothed rack running in the middle of the railway.
- 2. 車輛 Carriages
- 原本是用來搬運建設水力發電站建材的南阿爾卑斯線。為了配合彷彿穿針引線般的轉彎處,還有很窄的隧道而造的小型車輛。在旅遊旺季時也會連結展望型車輛 Southern Alps ABT Line’s initial mission was to carry resources to build a water power plant. Small carriages are used as there are many turns along the mountain valley and the tunnels are narrow, too. During the sightseeing season, you can enjoy the view from the observation cars.
- 3. 阿布特式火車頭 ABT System Locomotives
- 南阿爾卑斯阿布特線的「阿布特 Ichishiro」- 長島水庫站之間,是日本鐵道中傾斜度最大的區域。為了攀爬這個陡坡,得先在「阿布特 Ichishiro」車站連結上阿布特式火車頭。您可以在各站下車觀看列車的連結作業流程 Between ABT Ichishiro station and Nagashima Dam station is the steepest railway running in Japan. Here we connect to an ABT System Electric Locomotive. You can leave the train at both stations to see how it is connected.

- 1. SL 出雲 Steam Locomotive IZUMO
- 曾經活躍於住友水泥七尾工廠的 一畑輕便鐵路,是德國製造的蒸汽火車頭。「出雲」這個名字是從一畑輕便鐵路而來 The Germanmade Steam Locomotive was running on Ichibata Light Railway for Nanao cement factory in Shimane prefecture.
- 2. 1275 Steam Locomotive 1257
- 這是曾經活躍於日本造鋼江津工廠專用路線的蒸汽火車頭。於 1922 年德國製造,您也可以進入駕駛座體驗一下 This Steam Locomotive was running on the private line which belonged to Japan Stainless’ Naoetsu Factoy in Niigata. It was built in 1921, in Koppel, Germany.
- 3. C 史勒夫1型 C SuRoFu Model 1
- 井川線專用,限制人數為16名的迷你小火車。當初是做為貴賓車來使用而活躍。於 1953 年製造 This stylish train ran on Ikawa Line and carried up to 16 passengers. It was built in 1953 by Teikoku Syaryo.
- 4. 舊站房 Old Station Building
- 重現了帶著一點懷舊的昭和 30 – 40 年代氣氛的站房 We have recreated a 1930s 1940s station building with a nostalgic touch.
- 當年車站的情景和張貼的電影海報等,醞釀出懷舊風情的空間
- 丹頂形電話亭和圓形一號郵筒 Old fashioned telephone box and postbox
- 所謂的「丹頂形電話亭」是因為,屋頂為朱紅其他為乳白,看起來就好像是丹頂鶴似的,所以才會有這個暱稱。「圓形一號郵筒」的正式名稱為「圓形一號郵政郵遞郵筒」。從昭和 24 年(1949 年)開始使用 (Tancho Model Telephone Box) This telephone box is known with its red top, like a Tancho Crane. (Postbox Round Type Model 1) The red postbox has been used since 1924, and still can been seen in towns along the Oigawa Railway.
- 5. 廣告鏡子 Mirror with Adverts
- 現在只能這電影中的道具裏才能看到的廣告鏡子。這面廣告鏡子是在大鐵下泉車站裏,一直到平成初期都還在使用著。這是世界上獨一無二的珍貴廣告鏡子 You might have seen a mirror framed with advertisements in an old Japanese film. This mirror was actually used at ShimoIzumi station until recently.

- 大井川鐵道在黃金週及暑假期會開放一般民眾參觀維修工廠 At Oigawa Railway, we will conduct a tour of the maintenance factory during the Golden Week and summer vacation. 您可以看到替 SL 火車頭加水或是添加木炭,與平時出發前的準備工作等情景。另外可以看到司機或是整備士在維修及移動火車時,與平時行駛中有所不同身影 You can see adding water or charcoal to the SL locomotive, and the usual preparations before departure. In addition, you can see that the driver or mechanic is different from the usual driving when repairing and moving the train.

転車台見学 Turnplate Tour

- 在新金谷駅和千頭駅安裝了轉車台,以便 SL 可以上下行駛。想看看蒸汽火車是怎麼轉的嗎 Turnplates are installed at Shin-Kanaya Station and Senzu Station so that the SL can travel in the direction of travel both up and down. Would you like to see how the big steam locomotive turns around?
- 1. 新金谷駅転車台 Shin-Kanaya Sta. Turnplate
- 2011 年 10 月完成的混合転車台,你可用人力或電気來轉車,在 SL の始発駅及終点駅都設有一對轉車台,駕駛員可朝向前方駕駛 A “hybrid” turnplate completed in October 2011. You can also turn it with manpower or electricity (motor). There are a pair of turnplates at the first and end station, we can always drive with the SL’s face facing forward.

- 2. 千頭駅転車台 Senzu Sta. Turnplate
- 現存最古老的転車台,1890 年英國製造,1980 年從新潟移至大井川鐵道,幾乎每天都在使用。與新金谷站轉盤不同,僅靠人力轉動,獲得日本機械工程師學會認證的「機械工程遺產」 The oldest existing turnplate made in England in 1890. It was relocated from Niigata to Oigawa Railway in 1980 and is still used almost every day. Unlike the Shin-Kanaya station turnplate, this is turned only by manpower. It was certified as “Mechanical Engineering Heritage” by the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.
