- 1879 年創業，当初の業態是餐廳，現在の建物建於 1932 年，至今是一家仍在営業的木造旅館 Founded in 1879, it is said that its initial business was a restaurant. The current building was constructed in 1932. Toyodaya is a wooden inn that is still in operation today.

- 本館為坡面瓦葺屋頂，玄関處設有山牆，山牆上裝飾有山牆飾 The main building is a hip-and-gable roofed structure with a tiled roof and a gable entrance, and a decorative gable ornament (gegyo) is attached to the gable of the hip-and-gable roof.
