- 花巻温泉旧松雲閣別館於 1927 年建築・開業，是 1924 年新築高級旅館松雲閣の別館 Hanamaki Onsen’s Former Shounkaku Annex was built and opened in 1927 as an annex to the luxury ryokan Shounkaku, which was newly constructed in 1924.
- 一棟兩層樓高的木造大規模旅館建築，屋頂為四坡頂，完全採用檜木建造，外覆紅色釉薬の花巻瓦葺，並使用手工玻璃，建造過程中使用了預製構件，未使用任何鐵釘 This large-scale inn is a two-story wooden building with a hipped roof. It is entirely constructed of cypress wood, covered with red-glazed Hanamaki tiles, and features handmade glass. It was built using a prefabricated construction method that did not utilize any iron nails.
- 館內至今仍保留許多 1961 年昭和天皇造訪時所使用的貴賓室和浴室，旅館雄偉壯麗，與背後松林交相輝映，彷彿重現往時花卷溫泉の景観 The interior still retains many of the VIP rooms and bathrooms used during Emperor Showa’s visit in 1961. Its majestic appearance, set against the backdrop of the pine forest, conveys the scenery of Hanamaki Onsen in its heyday.
