- 跨越 300 年時光，日本最大的合掌造建築 Transcending 300 Years, Japan’s Largest Gassho-Zukuri
- 屋頂結構不使用一根釘子，完全由稻草繩和擰成的金縷梅嫩枝「根索」綁紮綁紮的屋頂結構，融合了雪國抵禦大雪的智慧與上層養蠶作業的生活巧思，本宅為準五層結構，三至五層主要用於養蠶作業。此外，為便於地爐的熱氣上升，上層的地板採用鏤空篩板設計 The roof structure, assembled without a single nail using straw rope and twisted young witch hazel branches called “neso,” combines the wisdom of snow country to withstand heavy snowfall with practical ingenuity for silkworm cultivation on the upper floors. This house is a quasi-five-story structure, with the 3rd to 5th floors mainly used for silkworm cultivation. The upper floor boards are made of latticed plates to allow heat from the hearth to rise more easily.
