- 建於 1797 年，一座豪農住宅，同時也是村長的役宅 (庄屋) ，具有豪雪地帯農家の特徴，作為近世村官的典型住宅，是貴重的遺構，宅邸的屋敷構，沿著古老的旧会津街道而建的石垣和冠木門，令人聯想到中世武士的府邸 It is a wealthy farmhouse built in 1797 which served as the official residence of the village headman. It possesses characteristics typical of farmhouses in heavy snowfall regions and is a valuable historical site as a typical residence of a village official from the early modern period. The residence’s layout, with stone walls built along the old Aizu Highway and a gate, evokes the mansion of a medieval samurai.
- 主屋是一座宏偉的建築，採用茅葺屋頂，正面の表中門為坡屋頂，有山牆裝飾，更添官邸的威厳氣派，隣接的建物是「獨立會客廳」，建於 1901 年，正值目黒家最盛期，屋頂為銅板葺 The main house is a magnificent structure with a thatched hip roof. The front gate is a hip-and-gable roof with a gable ornament, adding to the dignity of the official residence. The adjacent building, with its copper-plated hip roof, is the “detached drawing room,” built in 1901, during the Meguro family’s heyday.
