- 東日本為數不多中級武士の武家住宅 One of the few samurai residences of a middle-ranking samurai in eastern Japan
- 建於 200 多年前，後經修復，屬於村上藩中上級家族，宅邸為單層茅葺曲屋，內部佈局精細，具有典型中級武家住宅の特色。此外，還可以欣賞到被指定為市指定級文化財、四季景色各異的庭園 The Wakabayashi Residence, built over 200 years ago and later restored, belongs to the upper middle-ranking family of the Murakami Domain. It is a single-story thatched-roof building with a curved roof, and its detailed room layout is characteristic of a typical middle-ranking samurai residence. Please also enjoy the garden, which is designated as a city cultural property and changes with the seasons.
