- 中村家原本是幕府使者藩の視察時宿泊地，即使居住者是農民の身分，由於利用者的身份特殊，也被允許擁有類似武士的屋敷構，即用大門和圍牆將房產包圍起來，主屋建在後面 The Nakamura family originally served as an inn for envoys sent by the shogunate to inspect the domain. In the case of such houses, even if the inhabitants were farmers, they were permitted to have a samurai-like layout, with a gate and wall surrounding the property and the main house built behind it, due to the social status of the occupants.
