A. 舊〔旧〕外川家住宅 Former Togawa Family Residence

  • 連結信眾與神之間重要橋樑的特殊神職人員,代為祈禱並傳播富士山信仰,對前往富士山朝聖的信眾給予信仰指導、指引登山路線及提供自家借宿 Religious practitioners who fulfilled their duties of intervention between people and God (Kami) and who helped pilgrims find lodging, climb Mt. Fuji and offer prayers on behalf of the believers and spreading the Mount Fuji faith. 江戸時代の最盛期上吉田地区曾有 86 座御師,為富士山信仰提供支持 At its peak during the Edo period, 86 Oshi houses were located in the Kamiyoshida area, supporting the Mount Fuji faith.

  • 御師經營供朝聖信眾留宿的宿坊稱為「御師住宅」(朝聖者客棧) The house where the pilgrims stayed were therefore called “Oshi no te” (The pilgrim’s inn).
  • 旧外川家住宅建於 1768 年,江戶時代末期又增建了一間後屋,至今仍保留著原貌,是一座珍貴的建築,屋內設有供奉富士山神的神殿和寬敞的客室,讓遊客得以一窺御師の家。此外,也展示貴重的古文書,讓遊客了解富士山信仰與御師間的關係 The former Togawa family residence was built in 1768, with a back room added at the end of the Edo period, and is a valuable building that retains its original appearance. Inside the building, there is a shrine dedicated to the god of Mount Fuji and spacious guest rooms, offering a glimpse into the lifestyle of an Oshi. Valuable historical documents are also on display, allowing visitors to learn about the relationship between the Mount Fuji faith and the Oshi.

B. 旧宮下家住宅 Former Miyashita Family Residence

  • 茅葺民家 Thatched-roof Private House
  • 據傳建於 1707 年富士山爆發前後。根據屋內柱子的配置和樑柱的構法,推測其建造年代為 18 世紀或更早,於 1990 年移築復原 The house was built around the time of the eruption of Mt. Fuji in 1707. Based on the arrangement of the pillars and the construction method of the beams inside, it is thought to have been built in the 18th century or earlier. It was relocated and restored to the museum in 1990.
  • 該住宅對於了解江戶時代中期該地區的民家具有重要意義 It was recognized as important for understanding farmhouses of the mid-Edo period in this region.

C. 旧武藤家住宅 Former Muto Family Residence

  • 市指定文化財 City Designated Cultural Property
  • 大型茅葺民家 Large Thatched-roof Private House
  • 根據房屋佈局、土坯房周圍柱子的厚重材質以及部分柱子上留有平刃和圓刃斧痕,推測其建造年代早於江戶時代中期,於 1983 年移築復原 Based on the layout, the thick materials are used for the pillars around the earthen floor, and the presence of axe marks from both flat and conical blades on several of them. It was relocated and restored in 1983.
  • 山牆上的大開口用於採光和通風,以便為閣樓提供養蚕所需的空間 The large openings in the gable are for lighting and ventilation for silkworm rearing in the attic.
