- 旧有壁宿本陣是這條主要街道重要的遺構 This former Arikabe-juku Honjin is an important relic of the main road.
- 1744 年，本町的建築被大火全焼，之後從旧位置遷至現在の場所，屋頂也多次重修。當時，奥州諸大名参勤交代，以及幕府・仙台藩の巡見使都曾在此休息宿泊 In 1744, the honmachi buildings were completely burned down, so it was moved from its old location to its current location and the roof has been re-thatched several times. During that time, it was used as a resting quarters by Oshu daimyo on their alternate attendance routes, as well as inspectors from the shogunate and Sendai domain.
