小原宿 Obara-juku (shuku) – 甲州街道 Koshu Kaido

這裡共有 7 家旅籠 (客棧)，除了接待一般旅人外，也接待許多前往富士山和身延山朝聖的宗教人士 There were seven inns, and in addition to ordinary travelers, they also accommodated many members of religious societies making pilgrimages to Mount Fuji and Mount Minobu.

本陣 Honjin (清水家 Shimizu Family)

• 信州高島藩、高遠藩、飯田藩的藩主 (大名) 以及在甲府任職的官員都曾下榻於此，無法入住本陣的家臣則被安排到脇本陣或旅籠 (客棧) 居住 This Honjin was used by the feudal lords of the Takashima, Takato and Iida domains in Shinshu, as well as officials on duty in Kofu, and retainers who could not stay at the Honjin were separated into wakihonjin and inns.
• 神奈川県下東海道和甲州道沿線共有 26 座供藩主居住的本陣，但如今僅存小原宿本陣一座，因此極具收藏價值 There were 26 Honjin buildings, which served as lodgings for feudal lords, in Kanagawa Prefecture along the Tokaido and Koshu roads, but the Obarajuku Honjin is the only one that remains today, making it an extremely valuable building.

小原宿本陣祭 Obarajuku Honjin Festival

• 祭典当日將舉行「大名行列」，沿道再現甲州街道町並的景象，並上演本陣太鼓弁天会和帶來的本陣太鼓表演以及大名茶会等 On the day of the festival, a “Daimyo Procession” will be held. The streets of the Koshu Kaido will be recreated along the road, and the area will be bustling with performances such as Honjin Taiko by Honjin Taiko Benten Kaiwa and a Daimyo Tea Ceremony.
