- 「本陣 Honjin (Special High-class Inn)」- 江戶時代專供幕府官員及大名領主等貴族的休泊施設 During the Edo period, Honjin were used to accommodate Daimyo (feudal lords) and shogunate officials traveling to and from the shogunate capital, generally located in post stations. 一般會指定地方上富有人家的宅邸作為本陣，如商人、名主、村役人(管理村莊事務的人) Many of the honjin were actually personal residences of village and town leaders.
宮ノ越本陣 Miyanokoshi Honjin

- 1883 年 2 月，宮ノ越宿本陣主屋部分毀於大火，客殿部分則倖免於難，作為木曾 11 宿中唯一倖存的客殿，陳列著宮ノ越宿歷代佈局圖的複製品 In February 1883, the main building of the Honjin was destroyed in the fire, but the guest hall escaped destruction. Inside, replicas of Miyanokoshi-juku layout maps by era are on display.
