自古以來，這裡是馬の名産地，並被闢為「朝廷の牧場 (望月牧)」Known since ancient times as a famous horse breeding area, it was protected as the “Imperial Court Ranch (Mochizuki Ranch).”

旅館 (旅籠)「大和屋」的真山家也經營批發生意，該旅館建於 1765 年，氣勢恢宏的建築和「やまとや」的石膏看板，讓人得以一窺往時的繁榮景象 The Mayama family, who ran the inn “Yamatoya,” also ran a wholesale business. Built in 1765, the imposing building and the plaster sign “Yamatoya” give a glimpse of the prosperity of the past.
望月宿最古の旅館，其珍貴的「伸梁」結構，即 2F 比 1F 向前突出，其木雕門楣上也鐫刻著精美的圖案 It was also the oldest inn in Mochizuki-juku. Its valuable dashigeta (projecting beam) structure, in which the second floor protrudes further forward than the first floor, is also engraved with a wooden lintel carving.

脇本陣 Wakihonjin (鷹野家 Takano Family)

鷹野家經營脇本陣，也兼營批發業務，屋樑上雕刻著精美的木製門楣 The Takano family ran the wakihonjin, which also served as a wholesaler. The wakihonjin has impressive carved wooden lintels on the rafters.

本陣 Honjin (望月歴史民俗資料館 Mochizuki History and Folklore Museum)

外觀設計旨在保留歷史景觀，內部則巧妙地利用了江戸時代民家解体的橫梁進行建造 The exterior was designed to preserve the historical landscape, and the interior is tastefully constructed using beams from a demolished Edo-period house.
展覽分為三個主題：「郷土の歴史と文化」、「中山道望月宿」和「人民生活與傳統」Exhibitions are divided into three themes: “Local history and culture,” “Mochizuki-juku on the Nakasendo,” and “People’s lives and traditions.”

井出野屋旅館 Idenoya Ryokan

1976 & 2006 年，角川映画 (電影)《犬神家の一族》曾在此拍攝，這棟建築建於 1925 年，最初是一家餐廳，現在仍然是一家旅館 It was used as a location for the Kadokawa film “The Inugami Family” in 1976 and 2006. The building was built as a restaurant in 1925 and is still used as an inn today.

天来記念館 Tenrai Memorial Hall

展品分為天来、小琴、門流三大類，涵蓋漢字、假名、漢假名混合字，甚至包括當代前衛書法家的作品 The museum displays works in three categories: Tenrai, Kogoto, and Monryu, covering kanji, kana, mixed kanji and kana, and even contemporary calligraphers of avant-garde calligraphy.
