竹の丸 Takenomaru

- 竹之丸是從江戶時代經營葛布批發商「松屋」的松本家的主宅，可以看到現代日式建築的美感，松本家族對建築的執著，以及與之相呼應的高超工藝 Takenomaru was built as the main house by the Matsumoto family, who had been running the kudzu cloth wholesaler “Matsuya” since the Edo period. The materials and designs of the fittings, columns, handles, and other small items are wonderful, and you can see the beauty of modern Japanese-style architecture, the Matsumoto family’s commitment to architecture, and the high level of craftsmanship that responds to it.
