国指定重要文化財 Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property
- 鹿児島県南部代表民家，據說前屋頂建於 1810 年 It is a typical folk house in southern Kagoshima Prefecture. The front roof is said to have been built in 1810.
- 主屋的茅草屋頂朝南，與東西走向的內樓垂直，呈南北直交，構成兩棟建築的結構，建築規模宏大，用料考究，且完好保存旧態，具鄉土代表的當地民家 The thatched roof of the main building faces south, and is perpendicular to the east-west oriented inner building, running north-south, making it a two-building structure. It is large in scale, and the materials are carefully finished. It has well preserved its original form as a representative example of a local house.
