阪神地區郊外住宅の先駆，敷地広大，建築風格融合了日式和西式，至今仍保留著明治和大正時期宅邸的風貌 The former Murayama family residence was a pioneer of suburban housing that spread throughout the Hanshin area. Its vast grounds and Japanese and Western-style buildings still retains the appearance of a Meiji and Taisho period mansion.

國指定重要文化財 Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property

1. 洋館 Western-style Building
該建築巧妙地利用了不規則的地形，地下室和一層採用磚砌結構，二樓則為木造。屋頂為四坡屋頂，覆蓋著鮮豔的綠色銅板葺，整體造型宛如建於度假區的大規模別荘 The building takes advantage of the uneven terrain, with the basement and first floor constructed of brick and the second floor constructed of wood. The roof is a hipped roof covered in vibrant green copper sheets, and the overall image is reminiscent of a large villa built in a resort area.
2. 書院棟 Study Building
書院共四層，四面各異，外觀複雑構成 It is four stories tall, with four different sides, giving it a complex appearance.
3. 玄関棟 Entrance Building
玄関正面是左右対称の長屋門形式，兩側設有格子窓 The front entrance is a symmetrical tenement gate with lattice windows on either side.
4. 茶室棟 Tea Room Building
茶室共有兩座，分別為「玄庵」與「香雪」。「玄庵」建於 1911 年，由薮内節庵指導建造，忠實地仿照了藪内流家元の茶室「燕庵」There are two teahouses, “Genan” and “Kosetsu.” “Genan” was built in 1911 under the guidance of Yabuuchi Setsuan. It is a faithful copy of the “Tsubame-an” teahouse, the head of the Yabuuchi school.
