• 日本最古老的民家之一 It is one of the oldest private houses in Japan.
• 当初の建物為兩層居室部，屋頂為緩坡式人字形屋頂，以木板或杉皮葺鋪成。現存的主屋朝向西南，於江戶時代前期修理改造，屋頂為茅葺，，北側和西側屋簷為桟瓦葺 The original building had a two-story living area with a gently sloping gabled roof made of boards or cedar bark. The current main house, which faces southwest, was repaired and remodeled in the early Edo period to its current gabled roof with a thatched roof and eaves on the north and west sides covered with shingles.
