- 高島屋東別館前身是昭和初期建造的松坂屋大阪店，一座見證了地域歷史變遷的歷史建築物 The Takashimaya East Annex was built as the Matsuzakaya Osaka store at the beginning of the Showa era, and is a historic building that has marked the passage of time along with the local community.
- 建物全体融合了歐洲歷史様式和裝飾藝術風格，建築內有許多具有建築價值的亮點，包括沿著堺筋延伸的 11 連拱，散佈在各處的帶有茛莧葉圖案的陶土裝飾，以及內部電梯和樓梯周圍的精美裝飾 The entire building incorporates historical European styles with Art Deco decorative designs, and there are many architecturally valuable highlights to be seen throughout, including the 11-arch arcade that runs along Sakaisuji, the terracotta decorations with acanthus leaf motifs scattered throughout, and the intricate decorations around the elevators and staircases inside.
