• 本館由奈良佛像館、青銅器館、東新館、西新館 4 個展區組成 The Main Building consists of four exhibition areas: Nara Buddhist Sculpture Hall, Bronze Buddhist Sculpture, East Wing, and West Wing.

• 奈良佛 (仏) 像館於 1894 年竣工，是奈良最早的西式建築，採用了法國文藝復興鼎盛時期的樣式，玄関 (門口) 周圍的装飾更是別具匠心，是明治中期代表性的歐風建築 The Buddhist Sculpture Hall (Original Museum Building) is brick building completed in 1894. The building adopts the architectural style of the peak of French Renaissance. Especially noted for the decorative ornamentation around its West Entrance, this building is an outstanding example of mid-Meiji period European-style architecture.
