- 智頭宿是「智頭往来」の宿場町。江戸時代鳥取藩主参勤交代前往江戸最初の止宿，設置藩主の宿泊、休憩、御茶屋、奉行所、制札場 Chizu-juku is a post town of “Chizu traffic” which was the main road going upward. During the Edo period, it was the first stop for the Tottori clan to go to Edo by changing attendance, and it was a key point where the teahouse, machi-bugyō, and ticket office were located, where the lord stayed and rested.
石谷家住宅 Ishitani Family Residence

- 石谷家住宅至今仍保存著許多当時の建築図面和文書，這些資料連同建築本身，都是珍貴的歷史文獻，展現了近代早期建築技術向近代推移的歷程 The Ishitani House was built during a time when Japan was strongly modernizing while still retaining many pre-modern elements, and it clearly reflects the historical background of that time. In addition, the Ishitani House still contains many architectural drawings and documents from that time, which, along with the building itself, are valued as valuable materials that show the transition in architectural techniques from the early modern period to the modern era.

- 主屋推測建於明治初期至中期，是一棟具有近代特徵的大型町家，例如設有走廊和玄関的町家，對智頭宿の歴史街景的形成做出了重要貢獻 The main house is thought to have been built in the early to mid-Meiji period. It is a large townhouse with modern characteristics, such as a corridor and a townhouse with an entrance hall, and has made a significant contribution to the formation of Chizu-juku’s historic townscape.

B. 西河克己映画記念館 Katsumi Nishikawa Film Museum
- 於 1930 年左右在主屋裏の敷地建造了這座洋館，目前，這裡是為紀念導演西河克己監督的電影博物館 The Western-style building was built on the grounds behind the main house around 1930. It is currently used as a film museum dedicated to director Katsumi Nishikawa.
- 展出了《絶唱》、《伊豆の踊子》和《潮騒》等影片的海報、劇本和劇照，以及許多演員和電影人的信件，展現了西川克己導演的成就，他為日本電影的黄金期做出了卓越貢獻 The museum displays posters, scripts, and stills from films such as “Zessho,” “Izu Dancer,” and “Shiosai,” as well as letters from many actors and filmmakers, showcasing the achievements of director Nishikawa, who supported the golden age of Japanese cinema.
C. 下町公民館 Shitamachi Community Center

- 最初是作為智頭町役場，於 1928 年移築至現址，是一棟兩層樓木造建築，採用四坡瓦葺屋頂，外壁為木板牆，並設有玄関，但全体装飾較為樸素，是鄉村洋風庁舎建築的典範 Originally built as the Chizu Town Hall, it was relocated to its current location in 1928. It is a two-story wooden building with a hipped roof, shingled roof, and clapboard exterior walls. It has a front porch, but is generally unadorned. It is an example of Western-style government architecture in a rural area.

D. 智頭消防団本町分団屯所 Chizu Fire Brigade Honmachi Branch Station

- 這座面向智頭街道的兩層木造洋館，外牆覆以木板，人字形桟瓦葺屋頂，正面屋頂中央形成人字形，其上建有1座人字形的防火瞭望塔，沿著正面中央牆壁延伸至瞭望塔的梯子造型獨特，穿過人字形屋頂，使其成為該地區備受喜愛的地標建築 Facing Chizu Kaido, this wooden, clapboard-clad, two-story Western-style building features a gabled roof and a shingled shingle roof. The center of the front roof rises to form a gabled roof, topped with a gabled fire watchtower. The distinctive shape of the ladder along the center wall of the front, which pierces the gabled roof and leads to the watchtower, has made it a beloved landmark of the area.
