- 從四国四県移築復元的 33 棟建築物所組成的野外博物館，經遷移復原的包含江戶至大正時代所建的住宅、作業小屋、集會所、劇院、米倉、醤油醸造所等先人實際居住、使用的建築 The core of the village is the Shikoku Mura Museum, made up of 33 restored historic buildings relocated here from the four prefectures of Shikoku. The buildings include houses, workshops, community buildings, a theater, rice storehouses, a soy sauce brewery, and more.

- 茅葺屋頂 Thatched Roof
- 原位於愛媛縣南部山間地帶的斜坡上，格局為土間加上茶間、座敷兩個房間的中規模住宅。土間設有用來汽蒸楮皮或三椏等和紙原料的蒸鍋。剩下的兩間房地板都鋪著竹子，居民會在地板鋪上叫做「筵」的樸素蓆子。每間房裡都有「圍爐裏」，這是四國地區山間寒冷地區住宅常見的特徵 This moderately sized house was built on a steep slope in the mountains of southern Ehime and has a floor plan of an earthen floored doma, a chanoma tearoom and zashiki matted room. The doma is equipped with a large pot for steaming the raw materials for making washi paper: kozo (paper mulberry) and mitsumata (Edgeworthia chrysantha). The other two rooms are both built with bamboo ventilation slatting in the floors that are then covered with straw matting called mushiro. Every room has an irori fire pit, a common feature of homes in Shikoku’s cold mountain regions.

- 茅葺屋頂 Thatched Roof
- 擁有寄棟造與茅草屋頂結構的民宅。原址在標高 1,000m 的陡坡上，和倉庫及小屋等建築物蓋在一起。該地積雪深厚，因此屋頂斜度很高，方便讓雪滑落。在此展示的正房，樑寬3間，桁長6間，因此被稱作「本三六」建築 This home with a yosemune-zukuri thatched roof was built in Ichiu district, on the slopes of Mt. Tsurugi in western Tokushima Prefecture. Located on a steep slope some 1,000 meters up, it was built along with a storehouse and barn. The region sees heavy snowfall, so the roof is built with very steep sides to encourage the snow to slide off. The main house on display is called Honsanroku no Ie, because the upper floor is san-ken (5.4 m) long and roku-ken (10.8 m) wide.
