東京都庭園美術館 Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum
- 東京都庭園美術館大樓是裝飾藝術設計的傑作，於 1933 年竣工，是朝香宮的住所 The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum building, a spectacular feat of Art Deco design, was completed in 1933 as the residence of Prince Asaka.
- 當時法國正處於 Art Deco 的鼎盛時期，為其藝術風格傾倒的朝香宮夫妻，在修建自己公館時，委託法國藝術家亨利•拉品 (Henri Rapin) 設計主要房間等，積極地吸收了 Art Deco 的精華 Their stay coincided with the golden age of Art Deco in France. Fascinated by the beauty of Art Deco, the prince and princess decided to incorporate its glories into their new residence, for which they commissioned the French artist Henri Rapin to design the interiors of the principal rooms.
- 現在雖然被用作美術館，但是內部的改造極少，完好地保留了 Art Deco 裝飾藝術風格，從中可以窺見昭和初期的東京接受外來文化的情況，作為珍貴的歷史建築 While it is now used as a museum, no significant changes have been made to its interior. A valuable historic structure that accurately embodies the Art Deco style and provides a glimpse of receptivity to other cultures that flourished in Tokyo in the early Showa period.
