- 外觀設計理念是宛如純白盒子，打開時發出「哇」、覺得驚喜的「蛋糕盒」The design concept of our library is a cake box full of surprises.
- 為了利用自然光進行採光，將最適合讀書的光線引入圖書館內，外牆上約 6,000 個圓窗，從外面看上去，數不清的圓窗就像是浮在海中的泡泡 We considered the way the light comes in the library. There are approx. 6000 round windows. The windows on outer wall look like bubbles floating on the sea.
- 每個圓窗的大小和類型都不一樣，這種玻璃安裝在從外向內呈喇叭形張開的窗框內，讓柔和的光線輕盈的投射進入建築內部 If you look at the round windows closely, you may find that they are different in size and type. Soft light comes in evenly through the glass with a trumpet-shape frame.
- 閱讀空間採用混合式設計，沒有設置隔開書架和閱覽區的隔間。歡迎在室外般開闊、猶如森林般寧靜宜人的空間，享受讀書的樂趣 The bookshelves and the reading space are not partitioned. You may feel as though you are reading in a tranquil forest.
