- 由當地產的秋田杉和伝統技術製成的半圓環狀傘型結構屋頂，營造出的靜謐祥和的空間，四面牆壁幾乎都是弧形書櫃 In this calm and peaceful space with beautiful Akita cedar trees and an umbrella-shaped roof that utilizes traditional techniques, the four walls are almost all curved bookcases.
- 建築外觀是一個半圓型，以「書籍的競技場」為主題，被設計成「書與人相遇的劇場空間」，是學生們面對書本、投入其中的「知識競技場」及「提供隨時可以學習的場所」The library was inspired by the ancient Colosseum of Rome, and the inspiration is manifested in its semi-circular design. Earned the nickname “Book Coliseum”, the library is also an “arena of knowledge” where students face books and devote themselves to their studies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
