• 秋芳洞是日本最大的鐘乳洞，洞窟內有許多石筍與鐘乳石，以及巨大石灰岩形成的梯田 Akiyoshido cave, a special national treasure, is one of the largest limestone caves in the country. It is filled with geographically precious objects such as gigantic stalagmites, rimstones like terraced rice fields, and many others.
• 與岩手縣「龍泉洞」、高知縣的「龍河洞」並稱日本三大鐘乳洞 Akiyoshido Cave, along with “Ryusendo Cave” in Iwate Prefecture and “Ryugado Cave” in Kochi Prefecture, is listed as one of the three greatest limestone caves in Japan.
• 另外，乘坐秋芳洞中間的電梯可以直接到達秋吉台 In addition, you can go directly up to the Akiyoshidai Plateau from the elevator located in the middle of the cave.
