- 東山藝妓的歷史就是以這樣的方式從江戶時代起一直延續至今，同一名藝妓，也會因其經驗及場地的不同，而擔當不同的角色。跳日本舞的藝妓稱為「立方 (Tachi-kata)」，彈奏三味線、唱民謠、打太鼓、敲鼓等擔當伴奏的藝妓稱為「地方 (Ji-kata)」。用餐過後，請欣賞東山藝妓的拿手歌曲與日本舞蹈 This history of these traditions extends as far as the Edo period. A geigi can play all of the different roles, and will be assigned according to experience and location. In the parlor, the dancers are in the role of “Tachi-kata”. They are accompanied by shamisen, taiko-drumming, and song, provided by the geigi in the “Ji-kata” role. In the banquet hall, enjoy the arts the geigi have been trained in, including singing, dancing, and musical accompaniment. After your meal, enjoy listening to the song and dance of the Higashiyama Geigi.
