- 由於海王丸新船下水日正好是 2 月 14 日情人節，海王丸公園被譽為「戀人的聖地」。因此，在海王丸公園經常舉辦「幸福的鐘聲 婚禮儀式」及「海王丸戀人節」相親活動等 Due to the Kaiwomaru’s launching date of February 14th, the Kaiwomaru Park was selected as a “Lover’s Sanctuary” and this has led to the organization of “Happiness Bell Wedding Ceremonies” and the “Kaiwomaru Lovers’ Festival” spouse hunting event.
- 「從海王丸公園看到的月亮」被一般社団法人夜景観光會議局選為日本百名月 The moon seen from Kaiohmaru Park was selected as one of Japan’s 100 best moons by the General Incorporated Association Night View Tourism Conference Bureau.

- 海王丸 – 被譽為海上的貴夫人 The Kaiwomaru is called the “Lady of the Sea.”海王丸是作為商船學校的練習船而誕生的帆船。自 1930 年 2 月 14 日入水以來，歷時 59 年有餘，航行 106 萬海浬 (繞地球約 50 週)，培養了 11,190 名年輕人 Kaiwomaru began as a merchant training vessel. Since February 14th, 1930, she has sailed 1.06 million nautical miles (50 times around the world), and raised 11,190 young sailors.
- 每年會有 10 次將所有船帆展開，勝景不容錯過 It is decked out in full sail 10 times a year – Don’t miss it! 2018 年 7 月 20 日，海王丸的歷史與文化價值得到認可，海王丸被認定為「帆船歷史遺產」Recognizing the ship’s historical and cultural value, it was designated “Naval Heritage” on July 20th 2018.

- 從每年 4 月至 11 月，共計 10 次，由有經驗的志願者親手展開總共 29 張帆。舉行總帆展帆時需要約 100 名船員，這裡使用的凡是運用傳統的海洋技術，全部是人工縫製而成，志願者的培養訓練每年舉辦 5 次左右，每次訓練時間為 2 天 In order to display the “Lady of the Sea” in her most beautiful form, trained voluneers manually expand all 29 sails 10 times a year between April and November. Putting up all the sails requires a 100 crew members. In addition, the sails themselves are completely made by hand using traditional techniques. Training is 2 days, and is held about 5 times a year.
