- 青森市夏季最具代表性的祭典，在日本各地的祭典當中享負盛名，祭典的主角是被稱為「睡魔」，寬 9 m、深 7 m、高 5 m 的大型人形燈籠。這些人形燈籠多是以戰國時期的武將，歷史故事或歌舞伎表演為題材的藝術作品，色彩鮮艷，具震撼力。「睡魔」與振奮人心的伴奏樂隊 (睡魔囃子 Hayashi)，以及祭典舞者「跳人」，將一同於青森市內的遊行路線內行進 The epitome of Aomori’s summer, the Nebuta Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Japan. The main attraction is large, colorful and dramatic human-shaped floats called Nebuta, 9 meters wide, 7 meters deep and 5 meters high, most of them resembling ancient warlords, historical characters and kabuki characters in early days. These floats parade through the streets of Aomori, with Haneto dancers bouncing down the streets to the exciting music of Nebuta bayashi bands.
1. 睡魔囃子 Nebuta Music Bands
- 睡魔囃子 Hayashi 是由太鼓、笛、銅鈸所組成的樂曲，由太鼓敲打出節奏，用笛演奏出旋律，並用銅鈸強調音韻，「跳人」配合睡魔囃子的樂曲跳舞 Nebuta bayashi, or nebuta music bands, consists of drums, flutes and hand cymbals. The drummers set the rhythm, the flute plays the melody, and the cymbals accentuate the music. The haneto dancers dance and bounce to this music.
2. 跳人 Haneto Dancers
- 遊行期間，伴隨「Rassera，Rassera 」的祭典吆喝聲而跳舞的人們，被稱為「跳人」，只要穿上「跳人」的服飾，任何人都可以參加祭典，這也是青森睡魔祭的魅力之一 Dancers in the Nebuta Festival are known as hanetos. They dance and bounce down the street with the nebutas, as people cheer “Rassera, Rassera.” Anyone can join the dance as long as they wear a haneto costume, which is part of the festival’s appeal.

- 祭典將於青森市市中心舉行，由 JR 青森站徒步 10 分鐘，睡魔燈籠將於馬路上遊行，遊行路線全長約 3.1 km，遊行路線沿線兩旁均設有付費觀賞席，未購買付費觀賞席門票者，亦可在未設置觀賞席的地方觀看 The festival will take place in the center of Aomori City. It is a 10-min walk from JR Aomori Station. Visitors will be able to see the nebutas from the pedestrian walk. The route is approximately 3.1 kilometers long.
