• 為了不破壞瀨戶內的美麗景觀，建築物的大部分都設於地下，但自然光會照射進來，館內的作品和美術館本身所呈現出的表情一年四季時時刻刻都在發生着變化 The museum was built mostly underground to avoid affecting the beautiful natural scenery of the Seto Inland sea. Despite being primarily subterranean, the museum lets in an abundance of natural light that changes the appearance of the artworks and the ambience of the space itself with the passage of time, throughout the day and all along the four seasons of the year.

休館日 Closed: 週一 Mon.

• ※ 但週一為節假日時開館，次日休館 Open on Mondays for national holidays but closed the next day.

• 使用了構成安藤忠雄建築的主要素材的混凝土、鐵、玻璃、木材，設計簡約至極 Using solely concrete, steel, glass and wood – the main material employed in Ando’s architecture – the design of the Chichu Art Museum is reduced to the very minimum.
