- 本館展覽大廳整面落地大玻璃窗，把日式庭園美景帶入室內，將藝術品、建築和大自然融在一起，懸山屋頂令人想到寺院建築，採用極簡大屋簷的家屋形式，日式傳統瓦房式建築，室內天花板也以「傾斜」呼應承襲懸山式屋頂的概念 The exhibition hall has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, bringing the beauty of the Japanese garden indoors, integrating art, architecture and nature. The suspension roof is reminiscent of temple architecture, and adopts the form of a minimalist house with large eaves. In the traditional Japanese tile-roofed building, the indoor ceiling is also “sloped” to echo the concept of a cantilevered roof.
- 館內的展示空間中，主要分為書畫、漆雕、陶器、佛像雕刻、青銅器、茶具等六個展館，博物館的藏品最初為 4,643 件，截至 2021 年 12 月底，藏品數量已增至 7,613 件，其中包括 7 件国宝、88 件重要文化財和 95 件重要藝術品 The exhibition space in the museum is mainly divided into six exhibition halls including calligraphy and painting, lacquer sculpture, pottery, Buddha sculpture, bronze ware, and tea set. The museum’s collection, which was quite large at its start, with 4,642 works, also expanded, to approximately 7,400 works. These include seven National Treasures, 88 Important Cultural Properties, and 94 Important Art Objects.
