• 国指定重要無形民俗文化財 Nationally Designated Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property
• 闘牛據說已有 1,000 多年的歷史，已成為山古志人的一種娛樂方式 Yamakoshi’s bullfighting is said to be over 1000 years old and a form of entertainment for the people of Yamakoshi.
• 山古志闘牛場内還設有紀念館，介紹山古志與牛の歴史，闘牛大会開催日以外可自由見学。There is also a memorial gallery on display inside the Yamakoshi bullfighting ring that introduces the history of Yamakoshi and cows. You are free to visit the venue on non-tournament days.
