- 1994 年清水寺以古都京都的文化財之一部分，列名世界文化遺產。In 1994, Kiyomizu Temple was listed as a world cultural heritage as part of the cultural heritage of the ancient capital of Kyoto.
- 清水寺本堂建在音羽山の断崖上，於 1633 年再建の木造建築，日本古来の伝統工法建造堅固構造，支撐著擠滿了朝聖者的舞台 The main hall of Kiyomizu-dera built on the cliffs of Mt. Otowa. It is a wooden building rebuilt in 1633. It is a sturdy structure made with traditional Japanese construction methods, and supports the stage that is crowded with many pilgrims.

- 從正殿(本堂)延伸的「舞台」高約 13 m，由地板下方 18 根柱子支撐，再以垂直和水平方向穿孔相互連接及支撐，而且不使用 1 顆釘子。Overhanging the hall is an imposing veranda, called Kiyomizu Stage. The stage stands nearly 13 meters high and is supported by 18 pillars. These pillars are joined with a number of rails, which penetrate through each pillar and form joints to strengthen the overall structure without using a single nail.

- 清水寺の御本尊は「十一面千手観世音菩薩」。Kiyomizu-dera Temple is a place where the deity Kannon is worshiped. The principal image of the temple is the statue of the Eleven-headed Thousand-armed Kannon Bodhisattva.
