- 大洲の鵜飼い與岐阜県長良川・大分県三隅川並列為日本三大鸕鶿捕魚。Along with Nagara River in Gifu Prefecture and Misumi River in Oita Prefecture, “Ozu Cormorant Fishing” is counted as one of Japan’s three major cormorant fishing.
- 在熊熊篝火照映下，鸕匠 1 人操控 5 ~ 6 隻鸕鶿，在河上捕魚，遊客乘坐屋型船在周圍觀賞鸕鶿的傳統捕魚法。Tourists ride a boat downstream the river watching the traditional ukai fishing method, where handlers of trained cormorants use the birds to catch fish under the light of the bonfire.
