• 日本政府將特別古跡舊弘道館、舊閑谷學校、古跡足立學校遺跡、咸宜園遺跡等地指定為「近代日本教育遺產群」，也是第一個日本遺產。Shizutani-school was designated officially at the first together with former Kodokan, Ruin of Ashikaga school and Ruin of Kangien as an ensemble heritage of modern Japanese education.
