  • 以淺顯的影片，介紹與建設琵琶湖疏水有關人等的熱情，以及充滿苦難的歷史。The theater shows a movie that explains the passion of and difficulties faced by the people involved in the construction of the Lake Biwa Canal in an easy to understand way, and shows viewers the wonderful sights that can be seen along the canal.

第 1 展示室 First Gallery

  • 介紹琵琶湖疏水是如何計畫、建設。Exhibition Room 1 explains how the Lake Biwa Canal was planned and constructed.
  • 展示精密的測量圖等珍貴資料。On display are valuable documents including precision survey diagrams.
  • 以光雕投影實際感受疏水工程的行程與規模。Projection mapping gives you a sense of how canal construction proceeded and its scale.

第 2 展示室 Second Gallery

  • 完成的第 1 疏水，發揮了水力發電與船運等各式各樣的功能。Canal No. 1, which was completed in 1890, fulfilled a number of roles including hydroelectric power generation and water transport.
  • 介紹京都人如何運用琵琶湖疏水發展整座城市。Exhibition Room 2 explains how the people of Kyoto used water from the Lake Biwa Canal to develop the city.

第 3 展示室 Third Gallery

  • 琵琶湖疏水直到今天，都仍用於自來水的原水輸送及水力發電等，支撐著京都市民的生活。However, water from Lake Biwa Canal continues to support life in Kyoto by providing, among other things, a water source for the water supply as well as generating electricity.

室外 Outdoors

  • 1 樓室外展示有御所水道 45° 鐵管、B1 樓室外展示有運用琵琶湖疏水的水力發電中使用的佩爾頓式水輪機和Stanley式發電機等。Outside the museum, 45-degree iron tubes used in the Gosho Water Supply System are exhibited. The Pelton waterwheel and Stanley generator used for hydraulic power generation utilizing Lake Biwa Canal are exhibited on the outside.
  • 可近距離觀賞操控蹴上傾斜鐵道的轉軸工場。Enjoy an up-close view of the drum plant which made use of the Keage Incline.
