- 松下村塾由長州藩藩校「明倫館」講師吉田松陰先生教授。Shoka Sonjuku was taught by Mr. Shoin Yoshida, who was the instructor of the Choshu clan’s clan school “Meirinkan”. 塾舎現存於松陰神社境内，2015被指定為世界遺産。The school still exists within the precincts of Shoin Shrine, and was designated as a World Heritage Site in 2015. 伊藤博文及許多明治維新優秀人才，都出自本私塾。It is a private school where great men who accomplished the Meiji Restoration such as Hirobumi Ito studied.
