- 奈良井宿是日本最長的宿場町 (驛站)，沿著旧中山道從北向南綿延約 1 km，街道從南側分為上町、中町、下町三個町。此外，在東西方約 200 m 的範圍內有南北兩端的神社和中町，過去，本陣、脇本陣和問屋都位於市中心的中町，街道面山處則有「奈良井五寺」之稱的五座寺院 Narai-juku is the longest post town in Japan, stretching about 1km from north to south along the Nakasendo. It is divided into three towns, Kamimachi, Nakamachi, and Shitamachi, from the south along the highway. In addition, there are shrines at the north and south ends and Nakamachi in an area of about 200 m from east to west, and five temples (Narai Gokaji) at the foot of the mountain behind the townscape.
宿場町歴史 The History of the Post Town

- 以多處路段難行聞名的木曾路有 11 個宿場町，從北數第二難的地方是鳥居峠附近的一個驛站。千本格子住宅和旅宿前的燈籠等，至今仍保留著濃濃的江戶時代風貌的街道 The streets of the Edo period still retain a strong sense of style, such as the houses with a thousand grids and the lanterns in front of the inn. There are 11 post towns on Kisoji Road, which is famous for many difficult sections. The second most difficult place from the north is the post town near Torii Pass. Particularly in Narai-juku, the view of the old street in the area has been maintained and the houses, built using unique local techniques, are of historical and academic value. A. 中村邸 Former Nakamura Family Residence
- 中村邸是 1 棟漆梳商家，是奈良井宿典型的町家造，包括主屋和倉庫，建於 1843 年左右。目前，它作為博物館對外開放，並保留了原始外觀 The residence of the Nakamura Family, which used to be a wholesale merchant of lacquered combs, was built in 1843. Featuring an extended beam on the second floor (armor eaves) it retains the typical town house style in Narai-juku. It is currently open to the public as a museum, retaining its original appearance.

B. 上問屋資料館 Kamitoiya Museum (手塚家住宅 Tezuka Family Residence)
- 展示 400 多件藏品，包括古代文獻、陶器和漆器 Valuable materials, such as old documents and tools, are on display at this museum.

- 昔宿駅設置，供幕府官員、封建領主和其他旅行者使用，稱為宿駅制度 (宿場・伝馬制度) In the old days, a certain number of denma (horses for the inn station) and pedestrians (people) were set up at the inn station for the use of shogunate officials, feudal lords, and other travelers. It catered to the needs of tourists. This is called the post station system (post station/denma system).

C. 木曽の大橋 Kiso Ohashi (Big Bridge)
