因其飛揚的檐角形似飛鳥展翅，因此又名「千鳥城」，還是八座保留江戶時代製作的天守模型的城郭之一，並且是國寶 5 城中唯一保留有模型的城郭 It is also known as “Chidori Castle” because of its flying eaves and corners that resemble the wings of a bird. It is also one of the eight castles that retain the model of the tower made in the Edo period, and it is the only castle among the 5 national treasures that retains the model. 2015 年 7 月 8 日，松江城正式被認定為日本國寶 July 8, 2015 officially designated as a National Treasure.

松江的象徵松江城，是日本現存 12 座天守閣中唯一的正統天守閣 The symbol of Matsue is the Matsue Castle, the only orthodox castle tower, that is one of the treasures among the 12 castle towers existing all over the country.
1. 櫓 3 棟復元 Restoration of three turrets In
以前城郭二之丸中有御門・東塔・太鼓塔・中塔・南塔・月見塔。2001 年進行 125 年(1875 年毀損)來首次完成 3 座塔樓修復，以敲擊鼓聲報時的太鼓櫓(塔樓)、中塔及主要功能在於監視東南方的 2 層樓南塔 Ninomaru, there were once a gate, an east tower, a drum tower, a middle tower, a south tower, and a Tsukimi tower. Of these, three towers, the drum tower that hits the drum to inform the time, the middle drum that was called Ogai Ashizou, and the two-story south tower that monitors the southeast direction. In 2001 they were restored for the first time approximately 125 years when they were demolished in 1875.
2. 松江城桜花 Sakura
櫻の名所 100 選 100 Famous Locations for Cherry Blossoms
松江城山公園是賞櫻著名景點，園內有約有 200 棵吉野櫻、八重櫻和垂枝櫻盛開 Matsue Shiroyama Park is a famous spot for cherry blossoms. In the park, some 200 Yoshino cherry trees, Yae cherry trees, and Weeping cherry trees bloom.
