• 館址原為 JR 東日本大宮工場的車輛解體場，仍保留部分路線，使館內展示車輛能從現有的營運路線進出，展出內容以鐵路為中心的各種交通設備，及鐵路發展歷程，1F 展示 36 輛實體車輛，2F 主要以車輛模型為中心及介紹鐵道車輛的變遷 In addition to the heritage and materials related to Japanese and world railroads, the “Railway Museum” will systematically store materials related to the National Railways Reform and JR East and Conduct Research. A “history museum” tells about the history of industry, with actual exhibitions such as rolling stocks as the pillars and the background of each period. It also has the character of an “educational museum” where children can learn about the principles and mechanisms of railways and the latest railway technology (including future plans), while experientially learning by using models, simulations, and play equipment. 41 cars including powerful vehicles outdoors! The “Vehicle Station” is the largest exhibition room in the museum, with 36 vehicles on display. Vehicles are also exhibited in the South Building and around the Mini Driving Park. • 3. 迷你運転列車 Miniature Driving Train
• 在遵守交通號誌及限速的狀況下，您可在長約 2.4 m、寬約 1.2 m 的 3 人座迷你列車，一周 300 m、軌道寬 600 mm 的軌道上駕駛列車，所要時間約 6 分 You can drive a course with a lap of 300 m and a track width of 600 mm in a 3-seater mini vehicle with a length of about 2.4 m and a width of about 1.2 m. (Approximately 6 minutes). In the middle of the course, actual driving scenes such as deceleration by curves, speed limit of points, change of signal by preceding train, etc. will develop.
